Business Analyst

SUMMARY:
An industry leader in the automotive industry is seeking a Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for tracking and reporting on business performance and ensuring timeliness and accuracy of reports to management.

Minimum Requirements:

• BCom Degree or similar
• 5- 8 years’ experience in a similar role
• Code 8 drivers license essential
• Advanced computer skills
• Analytical Skills
• Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and profitability analysis
• Forex experience will be advantageous
• Understanding regulatory requirements for financial reporting (incl. IFRSs) will be advantageous
• Strong business acumen
• Strong problem- solving skills
• Good communication skills
•  

Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

The Business Analyst’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

• Providing advice on customized and tailor-made quotations
• Providing advice to Senior management on business performance
• Preparing various Business Dashboards in Sales and Pricing etc.
• Conducting research on different areas like products, pricing and restructures
• Formulating and implementing credit policy to reduce Bad debts
• Formulating and monitoring a strategy of winning large corporate fleet with Business development Executive
• Formulating and monitoring a strategy of winning large public Sector fleet with Business development Executive SOE’s, Government departments & local government.
• Credit and risk assessment of potential and existing clients
• Preparing sets of reports, dashboards and delivering insights in order to support decision-making.
• Using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods and data tools to build and implement business models
• Monitoring competitor behaviors and industry trends to make recommendation to the business
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
• Working closely with the different departments within the business to understand reporting needs and develop reports and improve as per business needs.
• Developing reports for the Sales and BD team
