Business Analyst

SUMMARY:
Our Client in the Insurance Sector requires a Business Analyst on a 6 months contract who will be requires to fulfil the key responsibilities:

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and document business requirements, processes, and procedures, whilst identifying viable efficiency enhancement opportunities.
• Ensure that products and processes are supported and configured to meet the client’s needs (i.e., alignment of applications, processes, business rules, performance factors, etc.).
• Enable complete business area analysis and specifications through the application of business modelling methods and techniques.
• Support business areas re-engineering efforts and support system development projects.
• Understand business areas re-engineering efforts and support system development projects.
• Understand the client’s business strategy and key business drivers and apply such knowledge in rending the Services.
• Work on multiple analytical projects simultaneously.
• Assist with ensuring seamless business integration from the current environments to the new proposed environment or solution.
• Analyse and document source to target mapping, processes, and flow chains.
• Assist with the development of test packs to facilitate quality assurance process which go together with such analysis and design activity.
• Lead the work packages for projects and BAU work.
• Ensure coaching and training is carried out to enable timely deliverables.
• Provide guidance to team members to ensure the shortest period between on-boarding and adding value.
• Ensure that work items timelines are consistently met.
• Documented systems analysis outcomes.
• Functional requirement specification.
• Contextual diagrams.
• Source to target mappings.
• Data modelling.
• Transformation and business rules.

• Technical background
• SQL Script experience/background
• Able to investigate Data using SQL Scripts
• Designing new reports
• User Testing experience 
• Data Warehouse
• Financial sector/Banking/Insurance experience
• Oracle experience
• AWS/ or exposure to cloud
