Business Analyst

Open requirements for a Business Analyst with the ability to translate user and business requirements into specifications for the development of new applications.

Duties:

• Analyse and document business processes.
• Collecting, understanding, and analyzing the business requirements for a project, and translating these into business and / or functional specifications.
• Maintain business documentation with required updates
• Participate in the report development cycle by assisting the project team in their understanding of the business requirement and objectives and ensuring the correct interpretation of the business requirement
• Assist in the preparation of test strategies
• Participate in user acceptance testing
• Co-ordinate access requirements
• Ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment.

Business Analysts Skills Required:

• Ability to investigate, analyse and document business processes.
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and interviews.
• Gain an understanding of the principles and concepts that drive the business and be able to bring them down to a business/practical level.
• Ability to make balanced and sound recommendations by understanding business processes, determining problems, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Ability to write detailed specification of functional requirements for information systems.
• End to end experience of the report development lifecycle including system and user and user acceptance testing
• High Client Focus interacting directly with end users and managers or executives.
• Results orientated and the ability to initiate action
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an entrepreneurial, self-motivated attitude.
• More than two years of business analysis specific experience.
