Business Automation and Digitalisation Developer

Our client is an award-winning operation within the food processing industry, and they require a Business Automation & Digitalization Developer with a strong background in data analysis.

POSITION INFO:
This role will focus on designing and implementing business automation and digitalization systems using Microsoft tools, while integrating data analysis components to support decision-making processes and business insights. The ideal candidate will leverage Microsoft technologies to improve operational efficiencies and deliver data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Automation & Digitalization:
• Design, develop, and implement business automation solutions using Microsoft technologies (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
• Develop and deploy digital solutions that streamline workflows, improve productivity, and enhance user experience.
• Integrate automation systems into existing business workflows, ensuring seamless operations.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Collect, process, and analyze business data to provide actionable insights using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other relevant tools.
• Design and create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making and business strategy.
• Utilize data modeling techniques to optimize data storage, accessibility, and utilization.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored reporting solutions.
• Development and Support:
• Support the integration of third-party tools and systems with Microsoft platforms to enable seamless data flow and automation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot developed systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance existing systems to align with evolving business requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with new Microsoft tools and industry best practices for business automation and digital transformation.
• Collaboration & Training:
• Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand automation requirements and implement tailored solutions.
• Provide training and support to end users to ensure smooth adoption of automation systems.
• Document processes, workflows, and code to ensure clarity for team collaboration and future enhancements.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience in business automation, digitalization, or business systems development, preferably within a Microsoft technology stack.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization using tools like Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with integration and automation of business processes in a corporate environment.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of business processes and how to automate them effectively.
• Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and reporting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, SharePoint Lists, etc.) and data integration techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of software development principles and techniques is a plus.

• Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) or other relevant Microsoft tools.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms for business automation and data solutions.
