We are looking for a Business Data Analyst tto join our financial services client based in Sandton for a 12-months contract role.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Data Analyst to join our client. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about process improvement, data insights, and driving business efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
What you will be doing:

Collaboratively define, review, maintain, and improve business analysis and process engineering standards, practices, methods, and techniques.
Create, maintain, and continuously enhance a collection of company and industry best practices for business analysis/process engineering.
Develop and refine business analysis/process engineering artefacts aligned with gold standards.
Conduct market research, benchmarking, and feasibility studies to improve business processes and skill sets.
Translate data into meaningful insights and support decision-making through extensive reporting.

What we are looking for:

Completed BSc / IT degree or other relevant qualification in a related field.
5+ years’ experience as a Business Data Analyst.
Strong background in system integration using different technologies.
Proven ability in data analytics and insights generation.
Extensive reporting experience with attention to accuracy and clarity.
Solid knowledge of process engineering/analysis methodologies.
Experience in SharePoint development.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Advantageous experience:

Experience in banking/financial services.
Exposure to data engineering or data science projects.
Knowledge of ARIS, Celonis, or other process mining tools.
