We are seeking a Business Data Manager to join our team, based in JHB-onsite.

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a Business Data Manager to join our team, based in JHB-onsite.

This role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring proper data management and governance within Group Finance.

Job Responsibilities:

Creating & enforcing policies for effective data management.
Devising & implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management & analysis.
Establishing data sharing.
Monitoring & Analyzing information & data systems.
Analyzing financial data to identify trends.
Assessing risk & identifying potential issues.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, maths, finance, business, or a related field.
Formal data management qualification i.e DAMA
>3 years Data Management
1-3 years banking or financial services
Financial knowledge

Technical Competencies:

Data management.
Ability to decipher & organise large amounts of data.
An analytical mindset with superb communication & problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate complex problems clearly & in nontechnical terms.
Strong understanding of banking regulations & financial products.
Excellent communication & leadership skills.
