SUMMARY:
Our client operating in the Logistics/Transport sector is seeking a seasoned Marketing Manager who has gained experience in a similar industry.

POSITION INFO:

You will be required to develop and implement a marketing strategy that will expand the existing client base and penetrate new markets.

Minimum Requirements

National Diploma in Marketing, preferably a B degree with marketing as a major subject
Degree plus a minimum of 6 years related marketing/ customer relations experience
Transport/ Logistics industry sector experience essential
Must be willing to travel and represent the company at an executive level

Key Result Areas:

Develop and implement a marketing strategy that will expand the existing client base and penetrate new markets
Be responsible for the update and maintenance of the website
Responsible for the update of the company website and social media pages
The liaison with existing sub-contractors and recruitment of reputable new sub-contractors
Penetrate new markets through lead generation and establish profitable revenue generation through new business development
Ensure that the current client base is serviced, and all their needs are met timeously
The liaison with existing sub-contractors and recruitment of reputable new subcontractors
