Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Business Development Consultant based in Gauteng.

Requirements:

Completed matric.
Relevant insurance qualification.
Fais compliant (RE).
Valid driver’s license.
5 years relationship management experience.
Experience in a direct short term insurance environment preferential.
3+ years short term insurance experience- essential.
Technical insurance knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Grow the book, stakeholder and relationship management.
Achieve and maintain the Broker Direct strategy and deliver on targets.
Maintain a healthy business relationship at a strategic and operational level.
Negotiate capacity and support from other teams within the company to support new and existing Broker Direct partners.
Responsible for all Broker Direct contracting and adherence to any governance and legislative requirements.
Proactively identify operational or procedural obstacles, determine impact patterns and trends analysis and design best practice solutions.
Manage effective SLAs with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure constant communication with the Business Development Manager in order to achieve targets, maintain relationships, adhere to any legislation changes etc.
