SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Business Development Consultant to drive revenue growth, build trusted relationships with founders and executives, and support the expansion of services across multiple regions.
This role focuses on consultative sales, strategic business development, and improving processes to create real growth for high-potential businesses.
The role supports global growth across South Africa, the USA, and the UK, and is based in Cape Town with a hybrid office structure, requiring attendance 2 days per week.

POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage with inbound leads via phone, email, and client meetings
Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into opportunities
Prepare and build proposals for new clients
Update and maintain CRM system
Contribute to top-line revenue growth through new client acquisition and support outbound and conversion efforts
Research new business developments, sales techniques, and tools and integrate best practices
Identify potential new target markets and generate leads lists
Correspond and follow up with potential clients
Support outbound lead generation management and improvements to the tech stack
Assist in creating new business avenues and improving sales processes

REQUIREMENTS:

Marketing or Business Management Diploma/Certificate
5–8 years’ experience in Sales and Business Development
Proven experience selling to founders, C-suite executives, or senior decision-makers
Demonstrated track record of successfully selling high-value, consultative services
Experience selling virtually in remote or hybrid environments
Strong time management, efficiency, and persistence
Excellent problem-solving, empathy, and stakeholder management skills
Alignment with values such as integrity, excellence, growth mindset, collaboration, and ethical standards
