  The Role:

  Essential functions:

  • Leading Supporting the sales team to deliver successful attainment of revenue and targets.
  • Construct strategy definition Assign strategic account objectives
  • Analysing Dept budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures.
  • Communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Identify and approach new potential strategic clients
  • Quarterly business reviews with clients
  • Value proposition shaping
  • Coordinate solution advisory with business units to provide solutions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts
  • Proposal Bid Quality Assurance
  • Monitor sales performance metrics Sales mentorships
  • Staff enablement development, Retention
  Skills and Experience:

  Qualification Essential Competency:

  • A Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business Administration
  • Bcomm Marketing/Sales
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of the Skills Development Levies Act, Employment Equity Act and the Amended Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment Codes of Good Practice
  • Basic Tax legislation literacy

  Experience required:

  • 8+ years of strategic business development and partnerships experience
  • Manages professional employees/managers, setting direction and deploying resources
  • Management responsibilitiesâ??direct reports are BD Managers
  • Indirect reports are BD Consultants

  Function related experience: 

  • Proven work experience as Sales Leader across large accounts
  • Solid sales experience in B2B environment
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and Account management systems
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • An ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent coordination of multiple business units to support account growth
  • Strong solution selling
  • Financial literacy
