SUMMARY:
My client, who are providers of transportation of finished concrete products within the residential and commercial sectors, as well as the transportation of various steel products is looking for a Business development director with Contract logistics and going out to find new clients experience.

POSITION INFO:

Job Desciption:

This person will formulate a tactical Business Development strategy and associated practice delivery plan for a sales value-chain function in an operating company and influence operational implementation, contributing to client’s satisfaction, reduced risk and improved profitability. This person will also need to have 8-10 years’ experience in a similar role and experience in defining and driving tactical strategies to implement and optimise a business practice, identifying new market opportunities, facilitate the process to take on new clients or implement new services. They need to have experience in managing budgets, define and drive Change Management and Communication plans for the implementation of a business practice as well as have experience in budgeting and Cost Management.

Education:

Bachelor degree and or advanced Diploma in Logistics/ Supply Chain or Operations
