SUMMARY:
Our client, a respected player in the international defence industry, is looking for a driven and professional Business Development Engineer to support their global expansion. This is a permanent position ideally suited to a well-presented, articulate individual with strong interpersonal skills and a hunger for international exposure. Youâll be key in building high-level client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and working with technical teams to craft bespoke solutions. Recent graduates with the right mindset and qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities

Research and analyse international markets to identify growth opportunities
Initiate contact and schedule meetings with both local and foreign clients
Attend industry events, conferences, and client engagements
Build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs
Collaborate with engineers to tailor products and solutions for various international clients
Develop and present proposals, negotiate terms, and assist with contract preparation
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, marketing, compliance) for smooth project execution
Manage projects from planning through to delivery and post-delivery support
Provide client feedback, ensure satisfaction, and identify areas for future collaboration
Be willing to work flexibly, including outside standard hours due to international time zones

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelorâs Degree (preferably in Engineering or a related field)
Recent graduates are welcome; project or business management experience is advantageous
Must be willing and able to travel internationally (valid passport required)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Detail-oriented with good organisational and IT skills
Own reliable transport
Immediate availability is advantageous
Must present professionally at all times
