SUMMARY:
Outbound Travel Company based in Cape Town is seeking to recruit a vibrant Business Development Executive.

As the Business Development Executive is responsible for supporting the business and the effective selling of products and services to their customer base.

The key focus is to reach overall business sales targets. The position requires you to generate sales leads, contact potential customers and nurture our existing customer relationships.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

Grade 12
A formal qualification
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in handling customer relationships and developing & promoting products and services in the outbound travel industry
Strong sales, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Building and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers
A flair for facilitating product training either via online or in person and hosting events such as workshops/events/conferences
Team worker and ability to interact with various departments and management levels
Ability to work independently and proactively with a strong sense of urgency
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Valid driver's license and roadworthy motor vehicle
Self-starter with high energy levels
Well-travelled
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong administrative and good time management
Dynamic and confident personality
Creative “out of the-box” thinking
