Business Development Executive - Automotive

SUMMARY:

A national FMCG company is seeking the above to be responsible for promoting the company’s current and future technology and service offerings, including returnable packaging, within the Automotive, Manufacturing, and Industrial sectors.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ industry sales experience, with at least 3 years in the automotive supply chain
• Minimum 5+ years in business development, product management, or key account development in a tech-driven automotive business
• Proven value-selling experience
• Solid understanding of relevant technologies: web/mobile apps, RFID/barcode scanners, BTLE, IOT, GPS tracking, and WMS/integration systems
• Demonstrate strong prospective abilities with a proven track record in deal-closing and achieving sales targets
• Willing and able to travel nationally as required by the role
• Possess excellent analytical skills to assess customer needs and align appropriate solutions
• Skilled in drafting compelling proposals and professional reports tailored to client objectives
• Manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Exhibit strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills in diverse business settings
• Bring a flexible, solution-oriented mindset and contribute positively within a team environment
• Maintain resilience under pressure and a positive, proactive attitude toward challenges
