Business Development Manager

SUMMARY:
Greys Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established organisation within the financial services and wealth management industry.

The successful candidate will provide dedicated business development and practice support to a panel of Financial Advisors and the regional Portfolio Manager. The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities within Advisor practices, supporting prospecting activities, improving business processes and contributing to the growth of Assets Under Management.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities within Financial Advisors' existing client portfolios. Support Financial Advisors with prospecting, business development and client engagement initiatives. Execute client advisory plans and annual review processes in collaboration with Financial Advisors. Assist Advisors in developing their value proposition and pricing frameworks. Support the assessment and improvement of Advisor practices through business assessment tools, dashboards and management information. Monitor practice performance, system usage and adoption of the endorsed advice process. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and business results. Assist Financial Advisors and their teams with transitioning to the required business and operating model. Provide business development support at client events, roadshows and related initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with Financial Advisors, Partners, back-office teams and key stakeholders. Contribute to the growth of Assets Under Management across the Advisor panel. Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Investments or a related field is essential. 3-5 years' relevant experience within financial services or a similar environment. Experience within financial planning, wealth management, investments or a related financial services environment will be highly advantageous. Experience working with or supporting Financial Advisors would be advantageous. Strong business development and commercial acumen. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and drive business growth. Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on with operational responsibilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Experience with XPlan would be advantageous. QlikView experience would be advantageous. CFP designation would be advantageous.
