JOB DESCRIPTION:

A one of a kind Insurer based in Pretoria urgently seeks to employ a skilled and qualified Business Development Manager for their newly set up Engineering / Construction division.

Your responsibilities will be to:

Develop new business and increase market share
Promote specialist insurance product based on client needs
Closing deals and meeting targets that have been set out by the business
Provide brokers with technical and business support
Build and maintain relationships with brokers

You’ll need:

Full FAIS compliance
Excellent marketing skills
Technically proficiency (Engineering / Construction Insurance)
The ability to analyse and assess risks
Attention to detail
Product knowledge and knowledge of industry wording
Underwriting experience within the engineering insurance space
Relevant market experience of at least 5 years (Engineering / Construction Insurance)
