JOB SUMMARY:
Previous high level Business development within Logistics, Chartering, Transport Engineering, Project Management, Specialised and Maritime Services will be a pre-requisite.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will have a sound understanding and knowledge of the following Target Market Industries:

Infrastructure| Transportation |Mining| Heavy Industry |Renewables |Chemical |Utilities |Manufacturing & Production Plants Government & Public Sector

This position will require you to actively approach the market in search of new business by building and managing executive level relationships with key Global Project/Industry Solution customers and driving successful alliances.

You will work directly with potential/current customers and cross-functional groups within the organization in support of various internal and external supply chain solution initiatives.

Develop new business in geographic region of assignment for defined priority markets and support clusters/countries in complex projects. Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing businesses.

You will have a University Degree and/or Bachelor in Logistics, Business, marketing or similar and 5+ years professional experience in GPIS Business Development field.

KPA’s:

  • Seek and initiate new business relations
  • Develop strategic targets and pipeline for GP/IS customers in collaboration with GP/IS country organisations, ensuring concrete volume and revenue to achieve GP targets
  • Create unique value proposition and product solutions for the accounts in pipeline in context of overall solutions
  • Close GP/IS customer opportunities
  • Screen potential business opportunities by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential and financials, evaluating option, resolving internal priorities, and recommending equity investments
  • Develop commercial and technical proposals – HSSQE, Pricing, Contracts Negotiation and Deal Closure
  • Develop negotiating strategies and close new business by ensuring secure integration of new venture, examining risks and potentials by interacting contract requirements with business operations
