JOB SUMMARY:
Our sister company based in Midrand is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in SD WAN/SASE to be responsible for developing the SD-WAN/SASE market by developing and selling the company’s solutions, driving customer engagements, managing pipeline and projects, across South Africa

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education and Experience:

Previous experience in selling Application Delivery, Security and/or Networking solutions specific knowledge, background, and experiences in the SD-WAN & SASE Market space
Consistent record of meeting/exceeding targets
Hands-on experience in closing complex deals in new markets
Knowledge of strategic account sales techniques/processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, develop business cases, and negotiate and close deals
Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and align it with the company’s solution strategy
Ability to educate, persuade, and influence others with a validated ability to approach and win new customers

Technical Competencies:

Advanced Excel knowledge
Basic SAGE knowledge will be an advantage
Networking certification, LAN, WAN, VPN, IP networks

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with customers to develop solutions, supported by Solution Architects from the company, and within different Business Units
Act as the key sales representative to develop and drive the SDWAN/SASE sales pipeline, working with the company and selling to corporate and enterprise Customers
Support the sales organization in driving the transition of our customers WAN infrastructure, into the new, Agile, and modern SD defined WAN solutions
Handle pricing, forecast, and pipeline, and plan for achieving quarterly/annual quota
Drive Aruba SD WAN solutions into leading Commercial and Enterprise businesses
Provide regular communication with Sales and other team to augment efforts and share support
Maintain knowledge of competitors to strategically position the company’s SD-WAN solutions better on the market
