JOB DESCRIPTION:

Well-established company involved in water and wastewater treatment, seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for driving sales and profitability. Position could be based in Cape Town or Durban.

For the position you would be required to have:

National Diploma or Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline preferred (Chemical or Chemistry)
Around 8 years' Sales experience in a relevant market segment in the water or wastewater treatment industry
Water treatment product knowledge
Sound understanding of fundamental contractual issues and commercial skills

Responsibilities would include you to:

Drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong client relationships
Develop relationships through direct and indirect channels
Establish and manage the distribution network for the product portfolio
Improve the company's market position and achieve financial growth
Work with internal teams to lead sales opportunities and thereby maximize company revenue
