SUMMARY:
Job Title: Business Development Manager and Account Manager
Location:  Midrand
Remuneration: R20 000 to R30 000 – depending on experience

Our client, a specialist in Bespoke Power Solutions is currently looking for a Business Development Manager for their team in Midrand. The BDM will be required to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and drive revenue growth for the business.
 
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably within wholesale electrical, electronic, construction, corporate office furniture, IT Accessories, Audio, Visual, and Cable Technology.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify new leads and business opportunities within target markets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Understand client needs and present tailored products and solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, technical) to ensure client satisfaction.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Report on sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts.
• Potentially manage and mentor junior sales team members in the future. 

• Must have 5 -10 years of experience as a Business Development Manager.
• Own car with a valid drivers license.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
