JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a growing distributer of IT hardware and software is looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to own and drive relationships with Microsoft customers. This role is based in Midrand Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Skills and Experience Required:

Matric with mathematics is essential, a tertiary qualification and/or a relevant diploma will be an advantage
Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position
Knowledge of the IT market, reseller channels, marketing and promotional strategies is essential
Have market knowledge on competitive brands
Have knowledge of roadmaps and product life cycles
Understanding of IT industry and OEM channel
Good time management and well organized i.e., deadline driven, able to plan and prioritize a high workload
Own transport and valid driver’s license

Job Description:

Own and drive relationship with Microsoft customers
Grow share of wallet within these customers of primarily Microsoft products
Identify and develop new revenue streams
Provide weekly sales forecast to management
Provide input to product team regarding stock holding
Working with reseller partners to devise Microsoft growth strategies and implementing these strategies
Market products and manage the sales process
Identify and implement market strategies
Disseminate product information
Position vendor product set
