JOB SUMMARY:
A new role has become available for a highly motivated and ambitious individual looking to make a career in international financial services. The role forms part of the business development and will give the individual exposure to the very heart of the business as they will be involved in both strategic and tactical initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The candidate will become part of a highly motivated and successful team which develops business internationally and support a team of skilled business development specialist.

Applicants should have as a minimum a Diploma, but a Degree in Commerce, Marketing or Financial Services would be beneficial.

The role will be a multi-faceted, with a focus on business development support.

The incumbent must be personable, have good communications skills, organised and be able to manage multiple tasks. They must have the aptitude to grasp and understand technical concepts and administrative processes

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The post holder is required to:

Assist with the management of central CRM systems and ensure account and contact data is maintained in an up to date manner
Assist with reporting to management on sales, key accounts and other initiates
Have responsibility to manage inward leads and liaise with the business development managers in this regard
Running the take on process for on-boarding new accounts
Support with prospecting for new accounts
Assisting with sales and marketing initiatives aimed at new and existing accounts such as events (online and physical) direct mail and other promotional elements to drive sales
Assist business development mangers with key accounts and relationship management including supporting them with trip management
Visiting accounts where needed both in SA and potentially abroad
Providing other sales support including the provision of information to accounts or assisting with general product and administrative queries

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

No experience is necessary, but it would be to the applicants advantage.
The applicant should hold a qualification of at least Diploma level, albeit a Degree would be more beneficial, in Commerce, Marketing and or Finance
