Business Engineer: Integrated Business Planning (IBP) (CH696)

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the banking industry is looking for a Business Engineer. The purpose of the role is to imagine, innovate, implement and improve the client’s Management Operating System (MOS) to deliver on the company’s Vision

The primary focus is to translate the company’s vision and strategy to:

1. Facilitate the implementation of the enterprise strategic objectives through leveraging (MOS)
2. Evolve the future Integrated Business Planning (IBP) architecture in support of MOS
3. Develop and maintain IBP implementation roadmap
4. Drive the delivery of the planning initiatives in support of IBP

The secondary focus is to translate business needs emanating from various projects, ideas or system changes across Shared Services into business requirements for developing/buying IT systems and developing project implementation plans.

The job holder will have up to 5 direct reports (MOS Administrator and Business Representatives)

Experience

Min:

• 8-10 years of enterprise-wide Supply Chain and planning experience

Ideal:

• Translating corporate strategies and objectives into planning capabilities
• Initiation and implementation of projects with the goal to implement the IBP target operating model and improve business performance
• Management/Leadership experience

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• A relevant degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics (Minimum)
• A relevant qualification in Business Engineering or Finance (Ideal or preferred)

Knowledge

Knowledge of the following areas are beneficial to perform the job:

• Banking transactional processes

• Knowledge of ERP Logistics system (SAP, Oracle) principles
• Business process mapping methodologies
• Project Management methodologies
