We are looking for a Business Engineer: SAP GRC for a fixed term contract Position with our client based in Pretoria.

 

Purpose of The Job:

The Business Engineer: SAP GRC is responsible for the day-to-day support of SAP GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) access and process controls across the SAP landscape. In addition, the role will provide functional and technical expertise to ensure information security follows through with the company security policies and segregation of duties (SOD).

 

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• A NQF level 6 or higher qualification in the Information Technology (IT) field essential.
• Minimum of 5 years SAP security and / or GRC implementation and production support experience required with a good understanding of SAP basis.
• A minimum of five yearsâ?? experience in workflow functionality in SAP GRC access request management and configuration of new roles within business role management.
• Implementation experience including full life cycle ASAP methodology, business requirement collection, business process analysis, gap analysis, realization, final preparation, training, go-live, support.
• Sound knowledge of SOD (Segregation of Duties) analysis, HCM security/structural authorization, sensitive transactions analysis, SAP development (includes ABAP), SAP modules, transport system, basis component, (web application server or WAS), NetWeaver, SAP-GUI essential.
• Strong knowledge in provisioning to SAP LDAP and SAP Enterprise Portal platforms for ABAP Roles, UME Roles, and Portal Roles/Groups required.
• Technical knowledge of SAP security architecture and role-based authorization models for SAP HANA, FIORI, GRC, ECC, BW/BI, CRM, SuccessFactor, Ariba, Portals, PI/PO, SRM, SCM, Solution Manager
• Candidate must be a team player and demonstrate good interpersonal-, communication-, problem solving- and project coordination skills.
• The successful candidate must have strong customer service attitude, ability to multi-task, high attention to detail proficiency level and ensure adherence to firm IT standards and change management procedures.
• High level of MS Office proficiency and willing and able to travel for up to 2 to 3 days at a time (international)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy GRC process and reporting requirements based on business requirements
• Responsible for functional and technical design, development, testing, implementation and support of SAP security roles, across all SAP landscapes
• Examination of control gaps related to governance, risk management and compliance and the recommendation and implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Systematic testing and evaluation of the effectiveness of the organizationâ??s information technology general controls (ITGCs)
• Perform regular system audits to detect deviations of established procedures, role mapping, unauthorized system activity and report findings.
• Assist functional and technical colleagues with troubleshooting critical issues, as it relates to security or GRC
• Assist the team with the creation of written validation procedures, plans and reports
• Ongoing maintenance of the software configuration within the SAP GRC application
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs for security roles
• Develop and oversee test plans for security enhancements
• Provide second-level support for users with security-related problems
• Prepare project related documentation (functional- and technical design, test scripts) during the different stages of a project.
• Perform SAP Note Implementations (Functional Security)
• Daily monitoring of jobs that are necessary for the GRC application(s) to run effectively and efficiently
