Purpose of the Role
This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Group CEO, with the primary objective of both managing and transforming the business throughout PAN South Africa. As a key management leader, the successful candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution to company’s key decisions and strategy moving forward – to realize the business potential from the client accounts to the maximum extent and achieve a large client base in South Africa. The successful candidate will be expected to guide business and delivery teams while ensuring highest level of customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have an impressive career history to date, and will almost certainly have gained significant international/ Domestic experience within an ITES Service, where they would have been responsible for managing a service delivery business. Experience in managing large service provider accounts is highly essential.
This is a strategic role with reasonable operational elements. It is a Global position involving the management of teams spread across locations in India and Africa. The Business Head will be fully accountable for strategic customer relationship, business growth, revenue, end-to-end service delivery, and, as a primary KPI, will be fully responsible and accountable for P&L. The successful candidate will possess the leadership credentials to manage and develop people in dynamic, rapidly changing environments. This will be combined with very strong communication and decision making skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop the company’s overall branding, marketing and corporate communication strategies in line with the company’s business development objectives and market characteristics and trends
- Develop the sales strategy based on regional and global market research to generate business opportunities and prioritize target markets
- Direct the analysis of sales and business development on a monthly basis
- Supervise and participate in the company’s representation at key industry events and exhibitions across the globe
- Provide leadership in identifying and developing new markets and customers to achieve business growth
- Create, direct, and implement the company’s promotional programs to stimulate awareness and sales in particular market segments
- Create a favorable brand image amongst prospective clients and employees
- Ensure development, implementation and strategic management of innovative sales, marketing and brand campaigns and techniques
- Work towards the development and sustenance of B2B relationships through brand building and partnerships
- Develop, measure, and report on key metrics around the business including client acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, satisfaction, renewal rates and refine go to market activities as require

Role Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership in establishing industry level competitiveness in business delivery
- To deliver on all SLAs as agreed upon
- Be adept in establishing, building and maintaining client relationships, exploring and understanding client business needs and initiatives
- Form strategic relationships with clients at an executive level
- Ensure Client satisfaction and to enable retention and growth of the account
- Participate in new business opportunities by either giving inputs at pre- or post sale, client meeting/presentations etc.
- Take a lead when on risk management and when crisis situation arise
- Maintain profitability from client and effectively manage budgets
- Sustain revenue and maintain goals to meet company objectives while maintaining superior service levels
- Impact the profitability of the company through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions
- Make those decisions required to achieve the company’s objective with respect to profitability and long term success
- Galvanize the business development activities and Build and lead an effective and cohesive management team
- Acquisition and retention of talent, growth and development of team members ensuring employee satisfaction
- To enable build a value based organizational culture
- Any other activity or overall responsibility as assigned form time to time as per business requirements and organizational priorities

Desired ProfileThe individual must have demonstrated excellence in the field of Sales & Business Development, including operations– building, growing and servicing of business. He / She must be a professional with exceptional people skills, high ethical standards and a team player. He/ She must have significant knowledge in the outsourcing industry and demonstrated track record of executing on planned goals and objectives, with specific relevance to the Domestic market space. He/ She must have BPO experience in the desired industry in the business delivery space, with a strong background of handling large client base. The individual must be a strategic visionary with sound technical skills, which allow for clear and persuasive communication. The individual must be able to quickly assess large amounts of information and data, as well as evaluate the interrelationships of numerous factors.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (ESSENTIAL)
- Have relevant P&L experience in a leadership capacity for a company having PAN South Africa presence / large support delivery centres.

Minimum Experience
- A Graduate in any Discipline with at-least 18-20 years of Professional
- Work Experience in a large reputed BT 100 or Fortune 500 Organization
- Additional Exposure to Management Education at the Master’s level shall be an added advantage
