Business Intelligence Analyst

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst (Data Visualization Specialist) to join their team. This role is suited to a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven professional with strong Power BI expertise and a passion for turning complex data into meaningful business insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for building dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across sales, marketing, and operational functions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualisations for sales, marketing, product usage, and operational reporting Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into BI solutions Maintain a strong understanding of business operations and data structures to support effective reporting design Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports and dashboards Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, performance, and reporting outputs Continuously improve reporting solutions by applying Power BI best practices and new features Analyse data to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives Work closely with engineering and business teams to align reporting with business needs Support data model improvements and reporting optimisation Requirements: 3+ years' experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field Strong experience with Power BI dashboard and report development Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis Strong SQL and Excel skills for data extraction and manipulation Understanding of key business metrics such as CAC, ROAS, and operational KPIs Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Technical & Professional Skills: Advanced Power BI development (dashboards, reports, data modelling) Strong SQL querying skills Knowledge of data modelling and ETL processes (advantageous) Experience with data analysis tools and techniques Familiarity with Azure or AWS (advantageous) Exposure to tools such as Tableau or QlikView (advantageous) Understanding of data visualisation and reporting best practices Ability to translate business requirements into BI solutions Preferred Qualifications: Power BI or Microsoft certification (advantageous) Qualification in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field Experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment Key Competencies: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills High attention to detail and data accuracy Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects Proactive, solutions-driven mindset Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Passion for data and continuous improvement For more exciting IT vacancies, visit: \/> We also specialise in recruiting for: Software Developers (Back-End, Front-End, Full Stack) Mobile Developers Business & Systems Analysts BI & SQL Experts UI\/UX Professionals Data Scientists & Data Analysts Big Data Professionals Cloud Experts Infrastructure Specialists DevOps & SecOps Engineers Cybersecurity Specialists SEO \/ Digital Designers Please note: If you have not received feedback within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
