Business Intelligence Analyst

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst (Data Visualization Specialist) to join their team. This role is suited to a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven professional with strong Power BI expertise and a passion for turning complex data into meaningful business insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for building dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across sales, marketing, and operational functions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualisations for sales, marketing, product usage, and operational reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into BI solutions
• Maintain a strong understanding of business operations and data structures to support effective reporting design
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports and dashboards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, performance, and reporting outputs
• Continuously improve reporting solutions by applying Power BI best practices and new features
• Analyse data to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives
• Work closely with engineering and business teams to align reporting with business needs
• Support data model improvements and reporting optimisation

• 3+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong experience with Power BI dashboard and report development
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis
• Strong SQL and Excel skills for data extraction and manipulation
• Understanding of key business metrics such as CAC, ROAS, and operational KPIs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Advanced Power BI development (dashboards, reports, data modelling)
• Strong SQL querying skills
• Knowledge of data modelling and ETL processes (advantageous)
• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS (advantageous)
• Exposure to tools such as Tableau or QlikView (advantageous)
• Understanding of data visualisation and reporting best practices
• Ability to translate business requirements into BI solutions

• Power BI or Microsoft certification (advantageous)
• Qualification in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
