Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join a fast-growing startup in the agriculture industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to deliver actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the business. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including operations, engineering, and management—you will design and maintain BI dashboards, identify performance trends, and provide recommendations to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to generate actionable business insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI.
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization across operations and supply chain activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reporting and analytics.
- Continuously improve data models, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar analytical role (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI (experience with other BI tools is a plus).
- Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge or exposure to supply chain, operations, or agriculture processes is advantageous.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with eagerness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
