Business Intelligence Designer

SUMMARY:
Our client, a giant in the distribution industry is looking for a dynamic Business Intelligence Designer that will be based in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible to oversee the information management and reporting systems of the business.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant degree in either Applied Mathematics OR Statistics OR Computer Science OR Logistics.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
• Essential: advanced Excel experience.
• Essential: 2 years’ experience in Netstock.
• Essential: Computer programming experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Building models and reports utilising Netstock.
• Optimizing models and reports using Netstock.
• Develop reposting solutions.
• Create visual reports.
• Compile weekly reports to inform operational decisions to drive improvement.
• Creating business improvement reports.
• Analysing data to answer strategic and operational questions.
• Automating data extraction.
• Report updated processes.
• Data validation.
• Data integrity testing.
• Data cleansing.
• Data modelling.
• Investigating and developing data quality scripts.
• Understand all business processes to develop reporting solutions.
• Design, develop and deploy reporting and analytical capabilities.
