We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.

Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.
You are required to collect, process and analyse data for a variety of business concerns ranging from product pricing and performance to employee productivity â?? anything requiring data to make better business decisions.
For a Data Analyst to be truly effective in their role, they need a combination of hard and soft skills which allow them to turn raw data into business-focused solutions.

The three most important skills a Data Analyst needs:
Technical skills: at the very core of data analysis is the ability to interpret numbers and data, organise datasets in programmes like Excel, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, or BI tools, perform statistical analysis, and confidently navigate databases and SQL
Communication skills: itâ??s not enough for a Data Analyst to explore their data â?? they also need to be able to ensure theyâ??re asking the right questions about the data theyâ??re interpreting, and be adept at presenting their findings in a way allowing other team members to absorb and implement solutions
Attention to detail: the art of data analysis is very precise. An invaluable Data Analyst can examine small details leading to bigger solutions, including granular interpretation of outcomes and using results to hypothesise about future trends and outcomes

• Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist.
• Automotive industry experience is preferred.
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI).
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or relevant field

• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools).
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
• Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes).
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
