Business Manager

SUMMARY:
A Durban based manufacturer is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Manager to drive sales performance, manage customer relationships, and identify market opportunities within assigned regions, product categories, and market segments. This role is a strategic leadership position requiring expertise in sales, marketing and financial management.

• Execute sales and marketing strategies as per the company's strategic framework and business objectives.

• Manage customer pricing, credit compliance, and quality
• Expand customer engagement to drive business growth through an extended product offering.

• Manage regional business development, product management, account management, and pricing strategies.
• Drive cross border sales activities to achieve the annual budget financial targets set for the assigned product categories and market segments in Sub Saharan Africa

• Contribute to marketing strategy development by gathering customer intelligence, competitor insights, and market trends to enhance strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with different teams to optimize business

• Manage and support two Customer Service Representatives (CSR).
• Conduct Bi-Annual Personal Performance and Development Plan (PDP)

• Technical degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering OR Commercial / Relevant Business Degree
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar management role in a related industry will be advantageous

• Strong MS office and time management skills
• Previous exp in CRM, ERP systems
