SUMMARY:

INTERNATIONAL SALES / NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in International Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management or Commercial Growth.
• Proven track record of identifying, securing and closing new business opportunities.
• Experience selling into the corporate sector.
• Experience within Retail, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Rewards & Loyalty, Technology, BPO, or similar industries will be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of African markets with experience engaging clients outside of South Africa.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and CRM systems.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
• Willingness to travel locally and throughout Africa when required.
• Bilingual candidates will have an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across South Africa and Africa.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through strategic prospecting and networking.
• Generate new leads through referrals, industry events, direct outreach and digital platforms.
• Present tailored commercial solutions to prospective clients.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation, closing and client onboarding.
• Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers, partners and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for expansion into new African markets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.
• Prepare professional proposals, presentations and commercial agreements.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client implementation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
