Our client in the forestry sector is seeking a self-driven Business Manager with strong financial acumen to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and administrative functions
• Track, allocate, and analyse costs; manage cost accounting and drive financial performance
• Prepare and present accurate daily, weekly, and monthly management reports
• Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support the owner with strategic planning and key decision-making
• Conduct business and financial data analysis to guide decisions and improve operational efficiency
• Identify and implement cost-saving and productivity-improvement initiatives
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational reports
• Manage accounts payable, including purchase orders and vendor payments
• Maintain accurate reporting and compliance through research and continuous data analysis

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar management or business administration role
• Strong background in financial management and cost accounting
• Proficient in MS Excel and business reporting tools
