POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities for this global concern include:

Managing and growing existing business and acquiring new business in Sub-Saharan Africa
Building client base
Provide commercial leadership in developing growth plans into the consumer chemicals, food and cosmetics industry
Field sales support
Analysing market trends to develop the company's market and competitor intelligence.

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in a scientific field such as Food Science, Chemistry or Engineering (Food engineering, Chemical engineering)
A minimum of 6 years marketing and sales experience within the food raw material or related industry, selling chemicals or food ingredients is essential
Proficient in MS Office. Experience with SAP or Business Warehouse would be advantageous
Valid drivers license and willing to travel

Attributes of ideal candidate:

Exposure to Product and Process Development, R&D, Technical Services domain
Entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and team members
