Business Manager (Sales)

POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities for this global concern include:

• Managing and growing existing business and acquiring new business in Sub-Saharan Africa
• Building client base
• Provide commercial leadership in developing growth plans into the consumer chemicals, food and cosmetics industry
• Field sales support
• Analysing market trends to develop the company's market and competitor intelligence.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in a scientific field such as Food Science, Chemistry or Engineering (Food engineering, Chemical engineering)
• A minimum of 6 years marketing and sales experience within the food raw material or related industry, selling chemicals or food ingredients is essential
• Proficient in MS Office.  Experience with SAP or Business Warehouse would be advantageous
• Valid drivers license and willing to travel

• Exposure to Product and Process Development, R&D, Technical Services domain
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and team members
