Role Purpose

The Business Partner (BI) assists in planning and implementing the pursuit of strategic opportunities for Business Insurance. This involves cultivating client and commercial relationships, identifying new markets, and driving the growth of insurance products or services.

Key Responsibilitie

• Business Development & Market Analysis: Monitor and assess sales and market data for specific geographic regions and segments. Produce reports to assist management in strategy formulation and identifying growth areas.

  Customer Relationship Management: Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex potential customer accounts. Identify and build relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.

• Sales & Proposition Execution: Set clear objectives for sales calls and deliver tailored presentations addressing specific customer needs and concerns. Identify complex standard products or services that meet customer requirements and present them with clear commercial rationales.

• Networking & Reputation: Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at sector events to enhance brand visibility and gather market intelligence.

  CRM Data Integrity: Ensure all customer information gathered through research or direct contact is entered into the CRM system to enable effective retention and business development

• Operational Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes of conduct.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Education: * Matric or SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential).

  • Full FAIS Accreditation (150 credits) (Essential).

  • RE 5 (Essential).

  • RE 1 (Advantageous).

• Experience: * 3–6 years of industry and commercial experience.
