Business Systems Analyst

SUMMARY:
A leading organization in the insurance industry is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their dynamic team of Analysts. This individual should be able to identify business needs and requirements. The individual should also be able to work with a variety of stakeholders designing solutions, managing expectations, mitigating risks, and delivering results

POSITION INFO:

Description:

• Responsible for analyzing problems, co-creating solutions with the development team.
• Workshop facilitation in order to collect client requirements and perform analysis for projects.
• Responsible for story definition, story writing, and acceptance criteria
• Managing execution, highlighting risks and dependencies, and resolving conflicts (where necessary).
• Ensuring that the solutions as implemented meet expectations.
• Drive and support effective teamwork within the department.
• Keeping project scope in check (in conjunction with Product Owner).
• Conduct system integration and functional testing.
• Support the rollout of new technical solutions and /or changes.
• Assist operational support area
• Seek opportunities to continuously improve the current system.

Education:

BA qualification required

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years Business Analysis experience
• Agile SDLC experience essential
• Employee Benefits and/or Financial Services industry experience preferred
