Business Systems Support Specialist

SUMMARY:
Business Systems Support Specialist_Required for Global OEM in the heavy commercial vehicles sector to ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the systems supporting the core applications of the business and efficiently manage / co-ordinate projects. Essential SQL qualification, Power BI Pro and Accounting Qualification with relevant experience.

POSITION INFO:

Summary:

The Business Systems Support Specialist ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the systems which support the core applications of the business unit and ensures efficient management and coordination of projects.

Essential Duties / Job Responsibilities:

• Administration and configuration of business systems 
• Analyze and resolve user and system problems for the Company’s Applications and Microsoft platforms 
• Manage the development of programs and reports for auditing data or rectifying data, Manage projects which relate to the improvement of business processes and changes in business practice as required
• Maintain the business systems in an optimum operating condition
• Identify training needs of users on the system and advise managers accordingly 
• Manage and support business systems in the different IT environments e.g. (Production, staging, testing)
• Provide third line technical support for systems
• Responsible for administration and testing of software upgrades within area of responsibility.
• Responsible for troubleshooting support of Microsoft and the Company’s applications
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
• Change Management and business governance
• Database Administration and configuration (Microsoft SQL)
• Administration and configuration Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance/ERP)
• Microsoft Power BI (Analytics\Reporting\Dashboard)
• Interface handling and resolving deviations
• Interact with Finance Department in order to carry out year-end roll over

• Extensive Business knowledge
• Microsoft SQL Qualification (DBA)
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 ( Finance\ERP )
