SUMMARY:
An established industry leader in the steel manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking an experienced Business Unit Manager to lead, grow, and optimise one of its high-performing divisions. This is a strategic role focused on operational excellence, profitability, and long-term sustainability.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Oversee daily operations of the business unit, including sales, supply chain, budgeting, and production performance.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to ensure high performance and accountability.
Analyse financial reports, market trends, and operational data to improve performance and forecast business growth.
Engage with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain strong, long-term relationships.
Ensure full compliance with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and quality management systems.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote innovation across the business unit.

ð Requirements

Minimum of 10 years’ managerial experience within manufacturing, steel, engineering, or industrial sectors.
MBA qualification is essential.
Strong business acumen with proven success in P&L management, strategic planning, and commercial leadership.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
