JOB SUMMARY:
Do you have experience in professional business to business sales selling products to new clients within the financial solutions industry in terms of funeral, credit life, group life, disability, and medical insurance?
 
Our client based in Sandton requires your tertiary qualification and FAIS qualification (RE5) with minimum 6 - 8 years’ experience selling financial services and achieving monthly sales targets.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric, Tertiary qualification (BCom, Sales and Marketing or relevant degree)
  • Must meet the FAIS Act qualifications requirements. (RE5)
  • Minimum of 6 - 8 years within the insurance industry in a similar position
  • Experience - funeral, credit life, group life, disability, medical insurance & employee benefit products
  • Proven industry-relevant track record of in-depth knowledge of the insurance domain, associated standards, practices, and regulations
  • Proven sales track record, established record of connections
  • Experience dealing with intermediaries
  • Results and action orientated.
  • Computer Literate with excellent attention to detail
  • Communication (verbal and written) up to EXCO level
  • Facilitation and presentation skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills

DUTIES

  • Sell financial solutions in terms of funeral, credit life, group life, disability, medical insurance, and employee benefits products to new clients
  • Source and develop new business opportunities (new business acquisition)
  • Maintain a professional approach to selling and manage the clients efficiently
  • Build and strengthen relationships with potential clients
  • Utilize current established relationships to grow business and portfolio
  • Identify and execute innovative methods to build the insurance portfolio
  • Uncover and close new sales opportunities through networking
  • Create comprehensive client business plans and engage in complex deal structuring
  • Ensure clients are delighted with solutions purchased to create long-term, win-win relationships, expanding and profitable
  • Monitor, report and deliver on revenue goals to exceed sales targets
  • Adherence to internal, regulatory, and compliance governances
  • Build sustainable relationships that enhance the brand
  • Keep up to date and fully informed on product comparisons with opposition products
  • Conduct a comprehensive risk evaluation for the client
  • Create collaborative relationships with other departments
