JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the FMCG industry is seeking a Buyer to join their team in Northriding, Randburg. The buyer will be responsible to ensure 100% fill for all products in the FMCG food range.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Buyer
Industry: FMCG
Location: Northriding, Gauteng
Salary: Market Related
Contract: Fixed-Term to Permanent
Closing Date: Tuesday, 17 May 2022

Purpose: To ensure 100% fill for all products in FMCG food range.

Qualification & Experience:

Matric.
Speak English fluently.
Relevant qualification/certification will be an advantage.
Computer Literate and Multitasking (MS Excel a must).
Syspro experience will be an advantage.
Must have at least 3 to 5 years’ experience as a buyer (FMCG) Food Services.
Must be able to negotiate prices.

Competencies:

Work efficiently and accurately.
Target/Goal Driven.
Extrovert, friendly and responsible individual.
Candidate must live close to the Office (radius of about 20 – 30 km).

Responsibilities:

Contract pricing.
Update product master.
Supplier negotiations.
Out of stocks.
Daily order cycle.
Bi- Monthly KVI specials for all reps.
Sales relationships.
