C# Developer

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established Software company based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking an experienced C# Developer to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• IT Diploma or relevant degree.  
• Minimum 5 Years solid C# and JavaScript experience.
• Exposure to the following technologies:
• Mercurial.
• Bamboo.
• Git.
• Bitbucket.
• Azure DevOps.
• Agile.
• Frontend, Backend, Web API’s, Messaging and Databases.
• Data Tier Abstraction Technologies such as GraphQL, Micro Services.
• Presentation Layer – HTML, CSS, Javascript, PWA, web-sockets.
• Json data structures.
• Databases – Relational, Object, Key/Value Database(necessary)
• MSSQL, MongoDB and Redis.
• Windows and Linux.
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, docker-compose ad K8S)
• AWS and Azure.  

Main responsibilities:

• Application software development.
• Customised client solutions.
• Front-end, Back-end and database development.
• Maintenance, debugging and problem-solving of software products.
• Product requirement reviews to give estimates on development and feedback on products.
• Testing units and integration testing.
• Sharing knowledge effectively with technical documentation.
• New infrastructure environment setup.
• Software development as per provided specifications and requirements.
• Working alongside AGILE team.
• Business requirements implementation.
• Deliver according to the Definition of Done requirement.
• Pair programming.
• Collaboration between developers, testers and analysts.
• Implementation meeting and technical planning implementation.
• Sprint Planning Development Cycles participations every 2 weeks.
• Daily standup meetings.
• Code reviews.
• Presentation of demos.
• Meeting delivery requirements.

Additional Information:

• Remote work – dependant on Covid 19 Alert Level. Should Alert Levels reduce teams will operating from the office 2 – 3 times per week.
