Employer Description Our client is a multidisciplinary civil engineering firm with expertise in water and sewer design, waste management systems, road and stormwater infrastructure, and sustainable housing developments. Job Description You will: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and scope. Assist in project planning and implementation and manage project tasks and deliverables. Perform administrative duties, including arranging meetings, preparing invoices, compiling estimates, and analysing project data. Provide safety leadership to contractors and participate in ES&H inspections to ensure compliance with contractual, design, and quality requirements. Support the identification and management of design changes and assess their impact on project cost and schedules. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions where required. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, standards, and company procedures. Qualifications Diploma or BSc Degree in Civil Engineering. BTech or other qualification in Project Management (or similar) will be advantageous. PMBOK and\/or Prince2 certification will be advantageous. Professional registration with ECSA (advantageous) Skills Minimum of five years' experience in project management or project administration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership ability with experience in a team-based environment. Ability to perform effectively under pressure with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Working knowledge of subcontractor and SMME management. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications will be advantageous.
