SUMMARY:
Are you a seasoned CA(SA) with a knack for turning spreadsheets into strategy and chaos into clean, consolidated reporting? We're on the hunt for a commercially savvy Group CFO who’s not just technically strong but also thrives in the fast lane of a multi-entity environment. You’ll take the reins on all things reporting, steer a top-tier finance team, and bring calm, control, and consistency to the numbers, all while having a seat at the executive table.

POSITION INFO:

Lead and oversee daily finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and internal controls across multiple entities
Manage group cash flow, payments, and asset controls, while ensuring adherence to funding covenants and financial obligations
Deliver accurate monthly reporting, consolidations, and performance analysis against budgets and strategic goals
Prepare and review annual financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards; liaise with external auditors to meet statutory deadlines
Support governance by participating in executive meetings, board processes, and regulatory reporting requirements
Drive the annual budgeting process and monitor group-wide financial performance and cost control
Conduct financial due diligence on potential acquisitions and support strategic growth initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and professional growth
Partner with executive leadership to shape and implement group strategy, transformation initiatives, and system improvements

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 10 + years' post-article experience, with proven progression into a senior leadership role
Demonstrated track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within a complex, multi-entity environment
Leading or managing external audits and liaising with auditors and regulators
Strong working knowledge of financial systems and exposure to process automation or systems improvement projects
Ability to operate both strategically and operationally
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at Exco and Board level
