SUMMARY:
Hands-on CFO opportunity with a growing manufacturing business – take strategic and operational ownership of a dynamic finance function.

POSITION INFO:
A market-leading manufacturing and production business, expanding its national footprint, is seeking a Chartered Accountant to join as CFO. This role offers exposure to strategic development, cost optimisation, and operational decision-making, while leading and mentoring a high-performing finance team. The business values empowering people and delivering world-class services, offering the successful candidate the chance to be actively involved in driving growth and change.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the full finance function
Drive strategic planning and commercial decision-making
Manage change initiatives and process improvements
Provide commercial finance insights to support operational performance
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification
8–10 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in manufacturing/production
Strong commercial acumen and experience managing large teams
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
