POSITION INFO:

This is more than a finance role it is a seat at the table where decisions are made and direction is defined.

A dynamic and expanding organisation across the manufacturing, production, and services sectors is seeking a commercially astute Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This opportunity is suited to a strategic CA(SA) who thrives in a high-impact environment and is confident influencing decisions at Board level.
As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, strengthening governance, and driving sustainable growth across the business.

Your Impact

Partner closely with the CEO and Board to influence strategic direction
Lead and oversee the full finance function, including reporting, planning, and controls
Provide commercial insights to enhance profitability and support business growth
Strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation strategies
Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
Oversee external audit processes and maintain key stakeholder relationships
Lead initiatives focused on process improvement, efficiency, and best practices
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team

What We’re Looking For

CA(SA) qualification (essential)
Minimum 8 years’ post-articles experience
At least 3 years’ Board-level exposure
Proven experience within manufacturing, production, or services environments
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at executive level
Commercially driven with strong strategic thinking capability
Demonstrated experience managing complex finance functions
