SUMMARY:
Our client in the Accelerate Funding Sector who focuses exclusively on entrepreneurs and assisting them in setting up SMEÃ¢Â€Â™s is seeking a CFO with previous experience within Banking, Bond Origination, Credit Bureau. As the CFO, you will not only be accountable for the accounting function for the Company but will be responsible for Treasury and some key financial processes in servicing customers

POSITION INFO:

The individual must be a CA (SA), 10 years post articles, 15-20 years working experience.

The expectation of the experienced candidate will include:

Be fit and proper to register as a director
Be a Key Individual in respect of FSCA
Manage the accounting function
Direct and lead the financial manager and their team
Ensure IFRS compliance
Responsible for Annual Financial Statements and audit engagement
Support credit committee outputs (sitting on the board of directors) as well as part of the credit committee
Manage projects - Sculp, Plan, Execute, and Debrief
Manage project resources
Support fundraising activities – dealing with Investors, Stakeholder and Share Holders
Preparation of reports for all committees as well as Investors, Stakeholder and Share Holders

Minimum of 15 years of post-articles experience (preferably with exposure to engaging with and reporting to external stakeholders – shareholders, debt providers, regulators)
