POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

A division within a medium size insurance organization is seeking a CFO to lead their finance department and the implementation of IFRS 17. If you are looking for an opportunity where you can be strategically involved within the business and be able to improve and implement systems or process this is an ideal opportunity for you.

As the CFO you will be leading an independent and strong financial team and be involved with the Exco team. My client is looking for an individual that is not opposed to getting involved in every aspect of finance and assist the finance team on an adhoc basis.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Statutory reporting
Vat & Tax submissions
Corporate governance
Preparation of monthly management packs
Budgets and Forecast
Preparation of technical papers

Job Experience & Skills Required:

CA(SA)

Insurance industry experience prerequisite

Five years’ experience within a CFO or Senior Finance Manager position will be beneficial
