My client is a listed diversified minerals and metals recovery company, which is looking for a CFO with Africa exposure within the Mining sector.

POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description
A leading international company within the Mining sector is in the market for a dynamic well experience CFO who has been exposed to the African market. The company is listed on the UK and South African stock markets. This role is part of the EXCO management team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial, commercial and treasury operations of the Group and making decisions based on the company's financial status.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

The purpose of the role is to formulate and execute the company's financial strategy, policies and guidelines that support commercial success, compliance and related financial principles
To support and guide the CEO in strategy direction, investment and public relations as well as communication with the shareholders and investors
The CFO reports into the CEO
Qualified CA(SA)
Master of Business Administration Degree(MBA) would be advantageous
Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management
Have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a senior financial role
Regulation codes: (IFRS), (IASB)
Treasury Regulations
AIM rules 2021
Listing rules of LSE
Listing rules of the JSE
Taxation laws (UK, SA, Zambia, Australia and Mauritius)
Co-ordinate the overall finance function and treasury of the group
Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders including clients, investors and regulatory for the group
Manage and drive the group's budgets and forecasts
Manage and drive operational budgets and forecasts by operational segments both geographical
