A well-established organisation within the retail sector, with exposure to FMCG and similar environments, is seeking a CFO / Head of Finance to join their leadership team in Richwood, Cape Town. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who combines strategic thinking with strong full financial function execution.

POSITION INFO:
The position suits a dynamic finance professional with proven experience operating at a Financial Manager level, who is ready to step into a broader leadership role within a fast-paced, operational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

CA(SA) qualification
5+ years post-qualification experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience at a Financial Manager level
Industry exposure to retail (preferred), FMCG, or similar sectors
Strong strategic leadership capability
Proven hands-on full financial function experience

Key Responsibilities:

Full financial function with hands-on involvement
Strategic financial leadership and decision support
Financial reporting and performance analysis
Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Supporting operational and executive leadership
Ensuring compliance, governance, and financial controls
