STORES MANAGER

A construction company in the Western Cape is seeking to employ stores manager.

Store Requisitions & Deliveries

Ensure all purchase requisitions are printed timeously daily.

Receiving of all supplier deliveries.

Print of all hire requisitions.

Accurately issue all hire items as per site requisitions.

Receive and document all returns including power tools, yard equipment and materials.

Ordering off stock when low store stock levels

Ensure that all office and stock deliveries are on time by following up with suppliers.

Updating & Maintaining of Quality Management Systems

Closing checklist to be accurately updated on a daily basis.

Monthly stock takes to be compiled accurately and completely.

Write off schedule for Site and Stores to be submitted monthly

Capturing material / assets deliveries on Build Smart

Capturing internal hire requisitions and returns on Build Smart on a daily basis

Yard Maintenance

The yard is to be maintained on a daily basis, ensure all equipment is packed and the yard is clean and tidy.

The rubble yard is to be controlled through checking for unauthorized access as well as maintaining an acceptable rubble level.

Administration

Ensure that all agreed upon timeframes for reporting back to Head of Department is adhered to.

Manage all lines of communication effectively and timeously.

Ensure all administrative duties are up to date and accurate at any given time.

All documentation is to be updated, signed off and submitted on time.

General assistance when required

KNOWLEDGE

- Maintenance ability

- Aptitude in working with numbers

- Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills

- Decision-making and problem-solving skills

- Conscientiousness

- Strong administration skills to ensure no delays in the process

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Matric

- Relevant course for storeman

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

- +- 2 Years’ relevant industry experience
