CONTACT CENTRE TEAM LEADER – SALES | CONTRACT A leading financial services environment is looking for an experienced Contact Centre Team Leader – Sales to lead, coach and drive the performance of a high-performing sales team. Minimum Requirements Matric Diploma in a relevant field Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a sales team within a call centre\/contact centre environment Proven experience managing sales targets and KPIs Experience in coaching, mentoring and performance management Strong understanding of contact centre sales processes and customer service standards Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and manage a team of sales consultants Drive daily, weekly and monthly sales targets Monitor team performance against agreed KPIs and sales objectives Coach and mentor consultants to improve sales performance Identify performance gaps and implement appropriate interventions Support the team with sales techniques, objection handling and customer engagement Analyse sales and performance reports and provide feedback Manage escalated customer queries where required Ensure adherence to quality, compliance and operational standards Promote accountability, teamwork and a strong performance culture Key Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent coaching and mentoring ability Strong sales and commercial acumen Performance-driven and target-oriented Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage conflict and difficult situations Resilient and able to perform in a fast-paced contact centre environment Alternatively, email your CV to mackaylar.
